2022 was quite the year for development news in the 210, and we loved covering every second of it. This year, however, weâll finally get a chance to actually see their final product.
From renderings to reality, check out these 10 developments that will be completed in 2023.
Long-time Southtown staple Rosarioâs announced its plan to move into a new location last year. The restaurant, which will feature a rooftop terrace and bar, is currently putting up the finishing touches before its grand opening announcement.
Construction on the new 10-story headquarters is well under way for San Antonio-based Jefferson Bank. With just over 75 years under its belt, the bank has quickly solidified itself as one of the fastest-growing banking centers in the Broadway corridor.
Planned for the first phase of the new Spurs training center is a performance center and community event plaza. A 22-acre park, along with other developments for the research hub, are soon to follow.
Civic Parkwill add to downtownâs outdoor public spaces in a major way. This is part of Hemisfairâs efforts to revitalize and transform the area into a vibrant, walkable urban green space.
This will be the last major addition to residential developments at Pearl in 2023. The Josephine apartments are expected to bring261 mixed-rate units to the area.

SATX developer GrayStreet Partners purchased a row of property downtown, including the space once occupied by Mexican Manhattan. The buildingâs current tenants involved in the purchase include Luckyâs Food Mart and a Western Brands apparel store. đ˘ (San Antonio Business Journal)

The San Antonio Zoo welcomed a new addition to its family, a white-cheeked gibbon. According to zoo officials, white-cheeked gibbons are critically endangered due to habitat loss. The birth of this new member is a step forward in conserving the species. đ (KSAT-12)

Site work on the corner of Elmira and Schiller streets began in June. Once complete, the development will feature 256 units as well as retail space on the ground floor.
