Where brunch is inspired by the culture of San Antonio at this Southtown spot — after opening in late spring, this restaurant now serving lunch, dinner and has opened a bakery next door.
Colette at the Phipps
| 102 9th St., Floor 4 | French, Latin, Japanese | Reservations: Yes
Inspired by French novelist, journalist, and performer, Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, this fusion restaurant blends together three cultures featuring dishes like the Asain Pozole Ramen and Chicarron Dumplings & Salsa Verde.
Comfort Cafe

After closing due to flood damage in 2021, this pay-what-you-can restaurant (part of the Smithville-based recovery center SerenityStar) reopened in August and serves all your brunch favorites including pancakes, eggs benedict, and more.
Gueritos Red Tacos

It’s a birria lovers dream at this food truck turned brick-and-mortar. It’s current location open in June and serves Tijuana-style beef birria, agua frescas, and more.
Feng Cha

Opening its first San Antonio location this May, the boba tea + bakery chain offer a variety of treats including milk foam teas, fruit drinks, and cheesecake.
Henbit
| 312 Pearl Pkwy., Building 6 | Hamburgers | Reservations: No
This food stall located inside the Bottling Department at the Historic Pearl uses Texas ingredients sourced from small family farmers around the Austin area. Come try made-to-order smashburgers, shakes, and garlic + rosemary french fries.
Künstler Tap Haus
| 502 S. Alamo St. | Brewery | Reservations: No
Opening its sophomore German-inspired location in June, this location features all your favorite menu items from its original location including bratwursts, hot dogs, and of course beer. You can find them inside the historic Pereida House in Hemisfair.
Lovers Pizzeria
| 1107 Roosevelt Ave. | Pizza | Reservations: No
This pizza joint is bringing New York-styled pizza to the 210. Since July, this spot has been serving up slices + whole pizza pies, hand mixed sodas, and homemade desserts. Pro tip: The restaurant only takes cash and Venmo.

Lead by Chef de Cuisine, Ruben Pantaleon, the newest project from Carpenter Carpenter that opened this month features Confit Duck Hand Rolls, Miso Soup, Serrano Salmon, and a Nigiri Platter.
Wurst Behavior

San Antonio’s first Asian-inspired beer garden brings a Neo-Tokyo aesthetic to the Saint Mary’s Strip. Come try the Kimchi Queso Burger, the Triple Sausage Sampler, and the Smashed Pickle Salad.

Blayne’s

Francis Bogside’s newest concept, a country bar in the middle of downtown San Antonio, is set to open this October. The honky tonk bar will have live music, a dance floor, a Tex-Mex food + drink menu, pool tables, and other bar games.
Blu Lacy Smokehouse

Owner of 2M Smokehouse, Esaul Ramo, is setting his sights on a new barbecue concept just west of San Antonio. The restaurant will be located next door to his wife’s bakery, Baked SATX, coming soon.
Box St. All Day

After opening is first location in Hemisfair, its sophomore location will feature all your brunch favorites, but on the Northside of San Antonio.
Hops n Hounds
|1123 Avenue B | Dog-friendly restaurant | Projected opening: early fall
This dog-friendly restaurant + bar is moving from is original location on Jones Maltsberger Rd. to downtown San Antonio. The new 1.5 acre location will feature a kitchen, coffee shop, and bar.
Port Royal
| E. Nueva Street | Caribbean | Projected opening: summer 2024
The newest two-story restaurant for James Beard Award nominee, Nicola Blaque, will be located inside the historic Schultze House in Hemisfair. The restaurant will feature flavors of the Jerk Shack (one of Chef Blaque’s resturants) along with new elevated dishes and crafted cocktails.
Naco Grayson

Naco Mexican Eatery plans to open its third location at the San Antonio Yacht Club
this October, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Customer will be able to enjoy tacos, tortas, and chilaquiles on its patio.
