We can’t think of a better way to soak in San Antonio’s green space than spending some time on the links. Whether you’re looking to connect outdoors with friends or you’re honing in on the perfect swing, here are 21 golf courses to make a tee time in the Alamo City.

Comanche Trace, 3074 Bandera Hwy.
Travel an hour north to Kerrville and you’ll find this real estate development, 27-hole golf course, and a private club room.

The Dominion Country Club, 1 Dominion Dr., San Antonio | This exclusive country club features private dining experiences, a wine cellar, and 260 acres of tee time.

Golf Club of Texas, 13600 Briggs Ranch, San Antonio | Offering a variety of membership plans, you can book tee times online via its online portal.

TPC San Antonio, 23808 Resort Pkwy., San Antonio | Home to the Valero Texas Open, the two courses on this property will fulfill all your golfing needs. You’ll need to book a reservation at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa or be a club member to access the courses.

Oak Hills Country Club, 5403 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio | This private golf course has hosted 34 PGA + USGA tournaments. Fun fact: Arnold Palmer won two Texas Opens here.

The Club at Sonterra, 901 E. Sonterra Blvd., San Antonio | Featuring waterfalls, endless greens, and two 18-hole championship courses, this private club appeals to all golfers.

Public courses

Canyon Springs Golf Club, 24405 Wilderness Oak, San Antonio | Built in 1998, this public golf club blends into the Hill Country and features two limestone waterfalls. Pro tip: You can even get married in front of the falls.

The Quarry Golf Course, 444 E. Basse Rd., San Antonio | The site of a former quarry, the back nine holes of this course have unique challenges, while the front nine feature rolling hills and greens.

La Cantera Golf Club, 16641 La Cantera Pkwy., San Antonio | This 18-hole golf course was designed by architect Jay Morrish and PGA Tour professional Tom Weiskopf. The La Cantera Resort also offers a stay + play golf package for your vacationing needs.

Landa Park Golf Course, 180 Golf Course Rd., New Braunfels | Located 45 minutes north of San Antonio, the 18-hole course offers lessons, event rentals, and hosts tournaments.

Olympia Hills, 12900 Mt Olympus, Universal City | Plan ahead for its Neon Night happening on Friday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets include one drink and two glow-in-the-dark golf balls.

Brackenridge Park Golf Course, 2315 Avenue B., San Antonio | This course opened in 1916 and is the oldest golf course in Texas. It is also home to the Texas Golf Hall of Fame.
