We’ve all been there. You’re leaving a late-night show or wrapping up a night on the town, and the midnight munchies hit. But it seems like the lights are off and the grills are cold at all your favorite restaurants.

Well, that’s not quite true — because there are definitely joints that cater to nighttime eaters with late-night meals of everything from pizza to burgers to tacos.

Rather than taking a trip to Mickey D’s around the corner, we’re rounding up a list of local eateries open late in the Alamo City.

  • New Braunfels readers, this is for you. TopGolf broke ground on a 400-acre mixed-use site yesterday, which is set to open in late 2025. Dave’s Hot Chicken is moving in too, with a $900,000 new construction at I-35 FM & 306. It’s also set to open in late summer 2025.

  • The Mitchell Lake Audubon Center is seeking pumpkin and individually-wrapped candy donations for its upcoming Family Mystery Night Hike. Donations can be dropped off at its visitors center. The night hike is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. and is free to attend.
