Everything you need to know about the 2025 General Election in Bexar County.

Can you believe it’s already time to vote in the general election? Early voting for the Saturday, May 3 election begins Tuesday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 29 and we’ve done the research so you don’t have to.

To make this election as easy as possible, we’ve curated need-to-know information about how and where to vote, along with what is on this year’s ballots.

Are you registered?

First things first, make sure you’re eligible + registered to vote.

Find your polling location

Bexar County polling places are open for early voting beginning Tuesday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 29 with Election Day to follow on Saturday, May 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you’re unsure where to go, check out this interactive map created by the Bexar County Elections Department of all 50 polling locations in the county. You’ll be required to show either photo ID or documentation that verifies your current address.

Have a mail-in ballot? Completed ballots must be postmarked no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day. Check out these mail-in ballot instructions.
