The City of San Antonio released a winter holiday schedule for city services. City Hall and most municipal offices will close from Sunday, Dec. 24 to Monday, Jan. 1. Public safety and emergency services will remain operational.

The San Antonio Spurs announced members of the McCombs family are joining the team’s investor group as strategic partners. The family is rejoining the organization 50 years after Red McCombs, Spurs founder + former owner, assisted with the team’s move from Dallas to San Antonio.

Tlahco Mexican Kitchen permanently shut down its Encinco Rio + 281 restaurant two years after opening the location. The Mexican food spot thanked its regular customers, family, and friends for their support + has asked the public to support its remaining location at 6702 San Pedro Ave.

Let’s Go 210. The UTSA Roadrunner football team clinched their first bowl win against the Marshall Thundering Herd at the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl. The final score was 35-7, and the Roadrunners finished the season with a 9-4 record — their third year in a row with nine or more victories.

Earlier this week, we asked you which Pullman Market restaurant you want to try. 38% of you want to the try the Sonora, Mexico cuisine cuisine at Mezquite’s, 28% are excited for pizza and pasta at Fife & Farro, 22% want to visit Nicosi’s dessert bar, and 13% want an elevated dining experience at Isidore.
Brunch is my favorite meal of the weekend. Two of my favorite places are Box Street All Day in Hemisfair and Southerleigh at the Pearl. Stay tuned for Box Street’s second location coming in 2024.
