As a parent, deciding what school is right for your child can feel daunting — but it doesn’t have to be. Luckily for San Antonians, Somerset Academy offers different options for every student at any stage in life. With four locations situated throughout our community, the school caters to students from PK4-12th grade.

The curriculum

With a focus on STEM, College Prep, Fine Arts, and a Bilingual Program, Somerset maximizes student achievement and the development of its students as accountable, global learners in a safe + enriching environment that fosters high-quality education. The district also participates in AlamoPROMISE, which covers the full cost of tuition at one of the five Alamo colleges for eligible students.

Bonus: Students can also earn college credits through the Early College High School Program beginning in middle school.

  • $18,000. The additional compensation per year for teachers Somerset secured through the Teacher Incentive Allotment2
  • Awarded an expansion amendment for an additional building at their high-performing Somerset Academy Oaks campus2
  • Somerset Academy Collegiate and Somerset Academy Brooks were both awarded Early College High School status from TEA providing students with up to 60 college credit hours and substantial support to guide students into an associate degree
  • Somerset Academy Lone Star offers Bilingual Education courses, and all campuses support Emergent Bilingual students with ESL-certified instructors
