City of San Antonio launches new local shopping tool

Skip the Amazon wishlist and opt in for something a little more local. Where can I find locally owned businesses? We’re glad you asked, the City of San Antonio has introduced a new savings pass offering discounts at retailers and is completely free to use. Enter the Buy Local Savings Pass.
🛍️ Local Savings Pass explained
The city is encouraging residents to buy local and visit neighborhood small businesses for all your shopping needs. The program currently includes six downtown businesses, offering deals like BOGOs + exclusive discounts for pass holders.
How do I get a pass? It’s easy to get one, just sign up for texts and emails to link your passport, checkout, and start shopping. The passes are good until April 30, 2024.

The Red Berry Trailhead that connects to the Salado Creek trail system on the city’s Eastside is open for recreational use. The 85-acre space was part of the Red Berry Redevelopment Project and also includes the renovated Red Berry Mansion, mixed-income housing, and a restored lake.
