The year is winding down and the new years resolution talks are starting to float around. As you predict the 2024 version of you, we want to go ahead and predict next year’s biggest headlines for SATXtoday.

We saw a lot of airport news, Frost Bank taking over the AT&T Center, AFL returning, and Hemisfair opening Civic Park. But what do you think, dear reader, of the top headlines for the Alamo City next year? Our City Editors are here to offer their predictions, just in case you need a little inspo.

I think we’ll see more solar canopy construction news next year. With Sea World San Antonio announcing construction on its energy-saving covered parking featured, I am crossing my fingers that Six Flags Fiesta Texas will follow suit.

I’m predicting the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures will decide on a final envisioning scenario and release its future plans for the museum. In conjunction with this decision, I also believe the San Antonio Spurs and the City of San Antonio will release additional details about a new stadium location.
