Skip the Amazon wishlist and opt in for something a little more local. Where can I find locally owned businesses? We’re glad you asked — aside from subscribing to our daily newsletter — the City of San Antonio has introduced a new savings pass offering discounts at retailers and is completely free to use. Enter the Buy Local Savings Pass.

Local Savings Pass explained

The city wants to encourage residents to buy local, by visiting local small businesses for all your shopping needs. The program currently includes six downtown businesses, offering deals like BOGO’s and exclusive discounts for pass holders.

How do I get a pass? It’s easy to get one, just sign up for texts and emails to link your passport, checkout, and start shopping. The passes are good until April 30, 2024.
