We’re starstruck. Restaurant industry magazine StarChefs named its 2023 Austin-San Antonio Rising Stars.

Out of the 23 food + beverage professionals, there are four San Antonio StarChef’s across three categories. The winners are chosen by StarChef’s editorial staff out of 100+ chefs, bartenders, and tastemakers in the area.

To celebrate, StarChefs will host Rising Stars Restaurant Week Friday, Dec. 1-Friday, Dec. 15, giving locals a chance to taste signature bites from the winners. Might we suggest: The Curry Boys BBQ Brisket Smoke Show? Here’s a list of the local winners:

Ready for a food fight? StarChefs is hosting an Art of Presentation contest for the best-looking dish. Check out the contenders and vote your fave. The deadline to vote is Monday, Dec. 4 at 9 a.m. The winner will receive $5,000 toward Steelite International products of their choice.
