As we approach Memorial Day, here is a list of monuments to visit around the Alamo City to honor our fallen heroes. These monuments honor heroes — both human and animals — as far back as the Battle of the Alamo in 1836.

From the editor
I loved writing this dog city guide because I am obsessed with my dog, Benny. He’s a schnauzer-chihuahua mix and he turns three this July. My family and friends know how much I love my dog and how I treat him like my child. I hope all my dog-lovers out there enjoy this guide.
