These high school programs offer comprehensive courses that combine academic learning with hands-on, real-world experiences, culminating in industry certifications and post-secondary credentials.
Judson ISD offers 29 unique programs of study, designed to prepare students for high-skill, high-wage, and in-demand careers in the Lone Star State. Focusing on relevant experience, the curriculum ensures students graduate ready to enter the workforce or continue their education.
Pro tip: Courses have been approved by the Texas Education Agency following the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V).
Curious about the impact? This year alone, students have earned over 700 certifications across diverse fields, including Health Science, Welding, Automotive, and Cosmetology.

Students not only gain valuable skills, but also align with the local labor market needs (think: projected job growth and annual job openings) while participating in these programs.
Cheap Trick | 7 p.m. | Majestic Theatre | $62+ | The band famous for songs like “I Want You To Want Me” makes a San Antonio stop as they gear up for their 50th anniversary.
Blood Drive | 11 a.m.-4 p.m. | Make Ready Market | Free | South Texas Blood & Tissue will be stationed in the north parking lot and donors will receive a commemorative Fiesta medal while supplies last.

Yoga Under the Stars | 7-8 p.m. | The Park at Pearl | Free | Participate in a community Vinyasa flow under the iconic red + white Pearl sign (and the stars).
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is home after a brief stint in the hospital, per ESPN sources. Popovich reportedly had a medical incident at a restaurant last week, following the stroke he suffered in November. The 76-year-old’s contract in San Antonio runs through the 2027-28 NBA season. (ESPN)

Launch Family Entertainment is planning an expansion into San Antonio. The company is known for its indoor parks where trampolining, bowling, arcades, and a whole host of family-friendly activities await. Three SA locations are planned — Alamo Heights, Leon Valley, and Shavano Park — all set for late 2026 or early 2027 openings. (My SA)
