San Antonio’s District Two is asking its residents to vote for the next mural to go over the north New Braunfels Bridge. The original artwork was painted in 1997 and has since faded over time. Choose your top three before voting closes Friday, June 7 at 5 p.m.

SA Pets Alive! is waiving pet adoption fees this weekend only. Make a donation amount of your choice and bring home a new puppy or dog. Find your next best friend tomorrow and Sunday, June 2 at its Medical Care and Adoption Center + Building 1 Rescue Center.

Parkour Generations San Antonio and Brackenridge Park Conservancy are offering summer parkour kid camps. During select weeks in June + July, from 9 a.m. to noon, bring the kids for outdoor fun featuring games, team challenges, and exploration activities. Sessions start at $60.
Try This
Amigo Walking Tours extended its Tower Life tours through Sunday, June 30. There have been delays in the start of construction on the multi-year renovation which caused the extension — and public interest of course. The tour is about two hours and tickets are $40 per person.
State
Consumer Affairs released its migration trends report for 2024. Texas ranks No. 5 out of the top 10 of states people are moving to. The key factors for those moving to the Lone Star State is for its business-friendly culture, low cost of living, and lack of state income tax.

6 Pride celebrations in San Antonio

LGBTQ+ Pride Month is here, and is celebrated every June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. San Antonio’s first Pride demonstration was seven years later in 1976, with only 35 participants.
Now, the city’s celebrations have grown — with a host of Pride events throughout June. Here are six events that will keep you rocking rainbows all month long.
Drag Me to the Hall | Saturday, June 1 | 9 p.m. | Stable Hall, 307 Pearl Pkwy. | $49 | The party doesn’t stop after the Museum Reach parade. Float down to this music venue and grab your tickets for a night of musical performances by nationally-recognized drag queens like Trinity K. Bonet.
