Recruit your little astronauts and get ready to have a blast, because a new space odyssey exhibit is debuting at The DoSeum.

“Mission: Astronaut,” open now through April 28, is designed to inspire the next generation of explorers and scientists with space-themed activities like:
  • Astronaut training
  • Operating a robotic arm
  • Science experiments
Bonus: The timing of “Mission: Astronaut’s” landing in San Antonio coincides with a solar eclipse happening on April 8.

  • The San Antonio Museum of Art is inviting medieval enthusiasts for a Knight at the Museum on Thursday, March 28, 6-9 p.m. Tickets start at $200 and include food by local celebrity chefs, fire dancing, and live theatre from Nathan Felix and His Merry Men.

  • The City of San Antonio has opened grant applications for its Climate Ready Community Action Fund. The grants will offer assistance to help start or continue existing community sustainability projects in our city and have a value of up to $20,000. Need nomination inspo? Check out our guide.

  • San Antonio FC released its promotional night schedule for its upcoming soccer season. Get ready for $3 hot dog nights, Marvel, nonprofit, Star Wars, and other themed matches. Grab your tickets to their first promo night + match against Loundon United FC on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.

  • SATX Social Ride is hosting an elevation celebration. The hill climb bike ride is not intended for beginners and takes riders through Olmos Park + Alamo Heights. Interested? Wheels are up at 7 p.m. at Breakaway Brewing.

  • Did you hear that Spurs player Victor Wembanyama is the new brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton? Local artists Andy Benavides and Chris Montoya have created a replica of the French storefront in Southtown. You can find at it at the intersection of S. Flores St. and E. Lambert St.

  • The NFL Alumni, TRUIST, and Whataburger kicked off the Super Bowl of Golf: Qualifier yesterday morning. The golfing event planned for Monday, May 6 at TPC San Antonio is aiming to raise $500,000 for the NFL Alumni’s non-profit, Caring for Kids. Learn about how to participate and where you can donate.
