Race you to the Force Course. Since 2015, the DoSeum has welcomed three million visitors through its doors. The Alamo City’s kid-friendly museum has enriched the local community via its exhibits + events, public outreach, education, school partnerships, and STEM events.
So, what’s next for 2024 and beyond? We’re breaking down the museum’s future exhibition plans + what visitors can expect in the next decade.

The DoSeum celebrated the end of 2023 with these significant achievements:
Welcomed it’s three millionth visitor.
20% of attendees used the “Museums for All” initiative which grants families who are receiving food assistance discounted general admission rates.
8,575 people were impacted through its outreach programs.

The museum will hit the ground running in the new year, with several new rotating exhibits in store as well as the return of its popular Artist in Residence program. Here’s what kids and those with a youthful soul have to look forward to this year:
Mission: Astronaut | Saturday, Feb. 17-Sunday, March 28 | This space-themed exhibit will feature a NASA live stream of Earth from the International Space Station along with Cinematic Space Projections. Participants will be tackling STEM challenges and simulate space missions.
Dogs! A Science Tail | June 1-Sept. 2 | Coming this summer, the event will explore the relationship between dogs + their owners, where our furry friends come from, and how to care for our companions.
...and beyond
As the museum heads into its next decade, its focus will include enriching neighboring communities through museum + educator partnerships, outreach programs, diving deeper into the science of play with kids of different backgrounds, Artist in Residents programs, and more rotating exhibits.

CPS Energy entered a long-term power purchase agreement with Genesis Consolidated Industries Holdings for a 150 megawatt-producing solar farm in Caldwell County. The solar project will help the energy needs of San Antonians for 25 years and is set to power up in summer 2025.
Announced
The Magik Theatre announced its new production “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!” for select dates between Saturday, Feb. 10 through Sunday, March 17. The play’s kickoff event is on Feb. 10, at 4:30 p.m., featuring live music, pigeons, and a vintage 1966 GMC Dreamliner bus.
