1,000th time’s the charm

Everyone’s favorite convenience store, QuikTrip (QT) — known for its amazing breakfast tacos — opened the 1,000th store right in Converse. We had to visit.

Located at 933 S. Seguin Rd., the store features a QT Kitchen, offering fresh, made-to-order food, specialty drinks and frozen treats. Your (and our) favorites are there, of course:
  • Soft pretzels
  • Pizzas (City Editor Adriana’s favorite)
  • Breakfast tacos
  • Hardwood smoked BBQ sandwiches
  • Bacon ranch grilled cheese (City Editor Nicholas’s favorite)
We also think we met what just might be the go-to drink of the summer — the dragon fruit mango QT infusion. This refreshing summer-time beverage is made with Red Bull, mango syrup, a squeeze of lime and topped with a cherry. There is a cherry limeade flavor, too.
