Let’s raise the roof, San Antonio — today, we’re sharing five rooftop bars + restaurants where you can experience incredible views of the city for the holiday season.

As a bonus, we’re including our favorite menu item to help you order like a pro.

The Moon’s Daughters, 115 Lexington Ave. | Bloody Mary Fish Bowl

Perched 20 stories above the River Walk, this rooftop lounge + bar takes the top spot in our list. This lounge offers an enchanting atmosphere with indoor-outdoor seating. Plus, the rooftop decor offers some of the best Insta-worthy photo ops in town.

Paramour at The Phipps, 102 9th St. | Mimosa $6

Located in San Antonio’s Museum district, this spot is known for hosting some of San Antonio’s most exciting drag brunches. The bar boasts a collection of 1,300+ spirits + features eats from Fonda Nostra making it the perfect stop to get your day started off with a kick.

Fairmount Rooftop Oyster Bar, 401 South Alamo | Oyster Shooter $12

Enjoy *shucking* awesome cocktails + eats at this oyster bar on the Fairmount Hotel rooftop next to Hemisfair Park. The bar is equipped with comfy lounge furniture to take full advantage of the simple pleasures of al fresco dining.

Chicken N Pickle, 5215 UTSA Blvd. | Chipotle Chicken $12

While most of the family-friendly activities (i.e. pickleball courts, yard games, etc.) are on the ground floor, patrons are welcome to check out the rooftop bar overlooking North West San Antonio.

Chart House, Tower of the Americas | Herb crusted, slow-roasted prime rib $34.50+

Oaky, we cheated a bit, but how could we leave out one of the most iconic restaurants in San Antonio where you can get a full 360-degree view of the city. Bonus: check out Bar 601 Mon-Fri 4:30-7 p.m. for happy hour.

Speaking of rooftops, we also have some towering news coming to the Alamo City skyline (hint: check out our Development news note).

Let us know if we missed any spots you think are essential for rooftop sips + eats. We’d love to see your photos by tagging us on Instagram. Cheers, San Antonio.
