Let’s set the scene: You just got off of work and are looking for a pick-me-up. It’s too late for coffee but you’re not in the mood for tea nor anything alcoholic — what do you do? If you’re looking for unique beverage experience then we’ve got something just for you.

What is Sodamigo?

Founded in 2022, Sodamigo is a Texas-themed soda shop where fizzy concoctions reign supreme and customization options are endless. Using drink bases like Pepsi or Big Red, this spot takes your favorite flavors and puts a Lone Star twist on them.

City Editor Nicholas’ drink of choice is the Chupacabra which features Big Red, blue raspberry, and coconut syrups. Pro tip:Keep an eye on Instagram for its Drinks of the Month.

Why soda?

Through his passion for business development, owner Roman Huerta says that a soda shop in San Antonio “just makes sense.”

The bottom line? Soda is fun. Seeing an increased interest in non-alcoholic drink options, Roman saw an opportunity to carve Sodamigo as a contender in the alternative drink space.
