Who doesn’t love saving money? CPS Energy is offering home owners rebates for replacing their gas-guzzling lawn tools with greener versions. Behold: The Mow Down Smog Program.

Here’s how the program works: Purchase an electrified lawn tool, and you can earn up to a $60 bill credit on your next energy statement. It’s that easy.

Check out the qualifying tools as well as their rebate amounts:

  • Cordless Mower (battery powered or push): $60
  • Corded mower: $30
  • String trimmer: $15
  • Edger: $15
  • Blower: $15
  • Hedge trimmer: $15

To redeem the rebate, CPS Energy customers should fill out this form (here’s the Spanish version). The items must be purchased between March 1, 2024 and Aug. 31, 2024.
