We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite lists that San Antonio has ranked highly on, and created a ranked list of our own. Here is SATXtoday’s top 10 list of times the Alamo City ranked top 10 on lists:

The Alamo Heights neighborhood ranked proved it has it all in this ranking, coming in at No. 8 out of 175 suburbs.
9. Best City to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse
Video games have prepared us for this moment. Lawn Love compared 200 of the biggest cities in the US, and San Antonio ranked No. 3.
8. Geekiest Cities
Who can argue with that? We host San-Japan which rightfully makes us No. 3 on the list.
7. Best BBQ Restaurants in the U.S
The restaurant is just 45 minutes north of San Antonio in New Braunfels, Travel Awaits couldn’t pass up highlighting Black’s Barbecue for the No. 2 spot.
6. 10 Best Food Halls Readers Choice Awards
Check out the new eateries inside the Food Hall at Bottling Department. It’s lush green space and food selections makes this destination No. 10 on USA Today’s list.
5. San Antonio International Airport is one of the best for stress-free travel
Our airport has had high reliability when it comes to air travel with only 2.4% of flights having been canceled in 2022, which makes it No. 5 on this list.
4. 2023’s Best Cities for Paranormal Activity
After all, we are home to the Alamo. This got San Antonio’s slot at No. 7 on this spooky list.
3. 10 Best River Walks Across the US
Somehow we ranked No. 6 on this list from USA Today, which is about six spots too low, if you ask us.
2. Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best
Hotel Emma took the No.1 spot for Best Luxury Hotel, and No. 2 for Top Hotel in the US.
