The Alamodome will undergo a staggering $16.8 million renovation in preparation for the NCAA Men’s Final Four tournament, set to be played in SATX in 2025.

According to a public filing submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the project will encompass massive upgrades to the stadium’s interior infrastructure.

This includes the addition of 18 new suites, renovation of 52 existing suites, and upgrades to concession spaces on Level 5.

Notably, the project will also bring new finishes in the concourse area as well as improvements to kitchens and restrooms throughout the property.

The last time the Alamodome saw dramatic changes was in 2017 when the stadium debuted its $60 million renovation, which brought with it two massive HD video walls, a new sound system, and the H-E-B Plaza.

The project is expected to wrap up by early 2024.
