The inaugural season of the XFL league was a whirlwind for San Antonians. Did y’all catch the Rock at the Alamodome this season? Unfortunately, the San Antonio Brahmas did not make it to the Championship game, however, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate in the off season.

This week, several San Antonio Brahmas players signed contracts with different NFL teams for the 2023-2024 season. These players will not return to play for the Brahmas next season but you can catch them this fall in the big leagues. Here are four players who signed NFL contracts:

  • Tight-end, Alize Mack, signed with the Tennessee Titans
  • Jacques Patrick, former Brahmas running-back, signed his contract with the Denver Broncos
  • Corner-back, Luq Barcoo, will play with the Pittsburgh Steelers this coming NFL season
  • Parker Romo, kicker, signed with the Detroit Lions
