YouTube superstar team Dude Perfect has contracted the help of local architecture firm Overland Partners to make their roughly $100 million dream a reality.

With over 58 million subscribers, the American sports and comedy group hopes to expand from the digital space to create a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination, complete with 330-ft trick shot tower. The group has been working with Overland for about a year, creating conceptual designs while planning to pitch the landmark development to various cities.

Overland Senior Principal Bryan Trubey shared with Sports Business Journal that the group plans to build the three-story headquarters in North Texas but is also considering other cities such as Los Angeles and Atlanta.

These Texans know the motto
Dude Perfect’s five co-founders — Tyler “TT” Toney, twins Cory and Coby Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, and Cody Jones — all hail from Texas and were once former college roommates at Texas A&M University. The group is currently based in Frisco, but that may change should the project land elsewhere — ahem, perhaps even San Antonio?

According to Social Blade, Dude Perfect has garnered nearly 15 billion views since the channel’s creation in 2009. With numbers like these, “everything is bigger in Texas” has taken on a whole new meaning to these Lone Star State natives.

Stark Tower? No, this is reality.
While the Dude Perfect may look like something out of a Marvel movie, this may very well be a reality in only a few years’ time. The project is expected to take about two years to complete once construction begins. Trubey, along with several members of the Overland Partners team, have worked on other monumental projects, including SoFi Stadium in LA and the AT&T Stadium in Arlington during their time at HKS, Inc.

Here’s what we know, according to an announcement on Twitter. Planned for the Dude Perfect HQ is:

  • a 330-ft trick shot tower
  • mini golf
  • two acres of outdoor space
  • a museum chronicling the group’s origin
  • several spaces for restaurants
  • a merchandise store + more

We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any project developments. Make sure to check out other landmark projects in SATX that Overland Partners has been a part of, including the much-anticipated hotel at Hemisfair.
