The monumental occasion was christened with a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the Naylor Savanna at the San Antonio Zoo.

Now that the vibes are set, we have some big news about the San Antonio Zoo — or should we say giraffenormous.

That’s right, the San Antonio Zoo opened it’s opened it’s expanded habitat last week for its giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and ostrich’s residents, marking the largest habitat in the zoo’s history.

The Naylor Savanna

The new habitat is double in size and includes new giraffe viewing barns and a special experience via the Spekboom Lodge. By booking this experience you’ll have exclusive after-hours access to the zoo and get to enjoy luxury accommodations where you can sleep alongside these magnificent creatures.

But wait, there’s more

Now visitors can ride in an actual safari truck ride thanks to the Conserfari Tours.

The new add-on ticketed experience gives attendees the opportunity to hop into a retrofitted safari-fied Toyota Tundra + feed the animals in the savanna.
