Bexar County can begin negotiating an incentives contract with Japanese-based Sanko and local company Operational Technologies to develop a new North American manufacturing plant along Watson Road. The ~$40 million investment is expected to create at least 50 jobs. (San Antonio Business Journal)

Haraz Coffee House is brewing its first San Antonio location off Wurzbach Road, in the same complex as UT Health Gateway. The Michigan-based Yemeni coffee shop chain expects construction to wrap in mid-September and already has a second location at 10907 Culebra Rd. in the works. (San Antonio Business Journal)

This news calls for an update to our brunch guide. Sunny’s All-Day Brunch & Bar will open its doors in the Texas Hill Country on Monday, June 16. Sprouts Farmers Market is growing its San Antonio presence with plans for a 23,299-sqft store on the Northwest Side at 13455 Culebra Rd. The grocer operates three locations in the area, with construction of this one expected to finish by December 2026. (San Antonio Express-News)
