    Drink

    Brewing up seasonal delights

    satx: Southbound
Not in the mood for coffee? It’s Golden Hour with coconut milk is the perfect amount of refreshing and is pure tropical vibes. | Photo by SATXtoday
Wake up and smell the orange vanilla latte — that’s how the saying goes right? The bluebonnets are peaking through, piles of clothes are waiting to be donated, and eateries are announcing new seasonal menu offerings which can only mean one thing — spring is officially here.

Our local coffee scene is tamping up some citrus sips. Here’s a few drinks we’re looking to try this season.

    Mas Cafe, multiple locations

The Primiavera Menu is here. Expect to sip on the Daddy is a State of Mind (cold brew with pistachio cold foam), Mujera Virtuosa (cold brew with rosemary honey cold foam), or try a little bit of everything via its Primiavera Flight.

Southbound Coffee, 246 E. Cevallos St.

Enjoy five spring drink menu items such as the Golden Hour (iced matcha + mango pureé), and the Spring Fling (housemade rosemary lavender syrup in a hot or iced latte). See the full list of drinks.

    The Buy

Amazon’s Big Spring Sale may last until Monday, March 31, but some of the best discounts are for one-day only. These are some of today’s best Lightning Deals:

⚡ A car trunk organizer that’s available in five different sizes.
⚡ This best-selling lumbar pillow that helps relieve back pain.

    More limited-time deals

    The Wrap

My top pick for a spring beverage would go to Southbound’s Golden Hour. After the first sip, you are transported to a lush beach escape right in Southtown. 10/10 would recommend.
