It’s almost game time, folks. We are less than 70 days away from the NCAA Men’s Final Four taking place at the Alamodome from Saturday, April 5 through Monday, April 7.
The San Antonio Local Organizing Committee (SALOC), City of San Antonio officials, and NCAA held a press conference Tuesday dishing out all the amazing experiences coming to our city.
Before we get started
San Antonio’s downtown is going to be electric with weekend events taking place Friday, April 4 through Monday, April 7. Expect fan activations, watch parties + tailgates, the March Madness Music Festival, a River Walk pep rally, the Men’s Final Four Dribble, and a legacy project.
This marks the fifth time in Alamo City history that San Antonio has hosted the Men’s Final Four, bolstering our reputation as a world-class destination for sporting events.
Fun fact: The weekend’s itinerary is estimated to add ~$440 million to San Antonio’s economy.

The City of San Antonio and The NRP Group are celebrating the completion of the Los Arcos at VIDA affordable housing project. The development adds 324 affordable units to the city’s South Side. Amenities include two playgrounds, a swimming pool, fitness center, and community programs.

HI Temple takes place every Friday night at 8 p.m. and features local DJs playing deep house, disco house, afro house, and techno surrounded by panoramic city views. Periodpalooza, a local nonprofit specializing in access to women’s health products, is hosting is hosting a self-titled market at Brick at Blue Star on Saturday, March 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect circus performances, local vendors, eat + drink options, and local health organizations. It’s free to attend and donations are encouraged.
