There are a lot of new and coming soon businesses in the Alamo City. The newest downtown luxury hotel, the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk, opened in August and is giving guests an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Countdown City.
Looking for your next date night or girls night spot? Give a round of applause to the newest rooftop bar in San Antonio, High Praise.
Rooftop details
Travel past the dazzling “whiskey on the rocks” chandelier and hang a right past the Cavalier restaurant to the elevator heading up the third floor. High Praise is an indoor, outdoor bar that features plenty of seating with terrace views of the north side of downtown.
Colorful artwork lines the walls of the interior along with comfy couches and chairs to catch up with friends on the latest gossip — or the latest edition of SATXtoday. Make your way onto the terrace adorned with long tables, chairs, and umbrellas that overlook the city.
The bar is open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., Friday + Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pro tip: Make a reservation to guarantee a spot.
