Veterans Day is on Monday, Nov. 11, but the events are starting this weekend. If you’re looking to honor our veterans in Military City, USA, we highly recommend checking out the USMVPA Veterans Day Parade tomorrow, followed by the SA Veterans Day event happening at Hemisfair from 12 to 8 p.m.
This free celebration is free to attend, and visitors can expect live music + entertainment, local resource fair for veterans, a vendor market, and the Presentation of the Colors. Be sure to stay until 8 p.m. and end the night with a laser light show.
Pro tip: If you have little ones that like to be in the water, bring a swim suit and take a dip in The Springs for extra fun. San Antonio is estimated to have a high of 76° on Saturday.
