    🎓 Raising graduation rates

    City of San Antonio announces fall dates for its Senior Summit: Rise to Graduation

    According to the Texas Education Agency, the high school graduation rate in San Antonio is 88.7%. To help boost that number, the city has created the Senior Summit: Rise to Graduation.

    The program is dedicated to supporting high school seniors facing challenges in completing their education through a three-phase program. Students involved in the program will participate in interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, guest lectures, and academic activities.

    The Summit’s ultimate goal is to empower seniors to overcome obstacles and cross the finish line. Seniors enrolled in the following local school districts are invited to participate on the following days:
    • Friday, Oct.18 | Northside ISD
    • Friday, Nov. 15 | South San Antonio ISD
    • Friday, Dec. 6 | East Central ISD + Southside ISD

There’s just something about watching sports live that hits different, and if you’ve been to a live sporting event recently you know exactly what I’m talking about.
