Star-crossed parks ✨
Elmendorf_Lake.png
We predict fellow Pisces people would enjoy a walk through Elmendorf Lake Park. | Photo by the City of San Antonio
You’re tottaallyy an Aquarius. We all have that friend who mentions their astrology sign ad nauseam. But our zodiac signs (shout out to all the Capricorns out there) got us thinking about which local park best suits San Antonians’ star-written signs.

Spring officially begins on Tuesday, March 19, and as the flowers bloom + the 1604 gets dotted with bluebonnets, these parks are best aligned for our spring Zodiac friends.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Elmendorf Lake Park, 3700 W. Commerce St. | We know you’re the romantic type, which is why Elmendorf is the perfect spot to have that dreamy picnic or rom-com moment. Take in the sights and unwind in a daydream.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

ComancheLookoutPark.jpeg

Unleash your inner Aries and challenge someone to hike up to a historic monument that overlooks the San Antonio skyline.

Comanche Lookout Park, 15551 Nacogdoches Rd. | You’re competitive and that’s okay. You’ll probably challenge a friend to a race along the 4.5-mile trail.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Brackenridge Park, 3700 N. Saint Mary’s St. | Just like the Historic and Design Review Commission, you don’t like change. Not that we’re judging, this beautiful historic park has everything you need for a morning, afternoon, or evening stroll.

Gemini (May 21- June 21)

DenmanEstatePark.png

Gemini’s are inviting people but sometimes they need time to themselves, so we suggest a walk through the moon labyrinth.

Denman Estate Park, 7735 Mockingbird Ln. | There’s something for everyone at this park. It’s warm and inviting — just like you. Take a walk around the pond or stroll through the moon labyrinth.

Looking for more ways to explore the Alamo City? Get outside and enjoy a picnic.

My mom, boyfriend, and I are all Capricorns, and they were so disappointed that I gave Capi’s Woodlawn Lake Park. Listen, don’t come at me, but if you have other park suggestions that best suit your sign, our inbox is always open.
