Spring officially begins on Tuesday, March 19, and as the flowers bloom + the 1604 gets dotted with bluebonnets, these parks are best aligned for our spring Zodiac friends.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Elmendorf Lake Park, 3700 W. Commerce St. | We know you’re the romantic type, which is why Elmendorf is the perfect spot to have that dreamy picnic or rom-com moment. Take in the sights and unwind in a daydream.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Comanche Lookout Park, 15551 Nacogdoches Rd. | You’re competitive and that’s okay. You’ll probably challenge a friend to a race along the 4.5-mile trail.

Denman Estate Park, 7735 Mockingbird Ln. | There’s something for everyone at this park. It’s warm and inviting — just like you. Take a walk around the pond or stroll through the moon labyrinth.

San Antonio painter Eva Marengo Sanchez displayed her latest piece of artwork — a one dimensional optical illusion painting on a school desk with a bag of Takis, crumbled up paper, and a pencil. Sanchez is one of 30 artists selected to be part of S.M.A.R.T’s 1906 Class of 2024.
