We recently released our guide to San Antonio’s live music venues, but we wanted to give you the inside scoop on the newest ones, that’s also one of the oldest buildings in the city.
You may have seen the construction fences while attending a weekend market at the Pearl these past couple of months, and we’re here to show you what’s behind that wall.

Located in the heart of the Historic Pearl, the Stable Hall is the newest live music spot in San Antonio and once housed the Pearl Brewery’s draft horses. This redesign project was led by local architects Clayton Korte, an Austin-based interior design firm Joel Mozersky Design, and design + development management by Oxbow Development Group.
Here are some highlights of the venue:
1,000 seat capacity
Reclaimed Texas dance hall pine floor
Fixed seat mezzanine
Hayloft balconies
Six full-service bars
Austrian lift stage drapes
Large jewel-box stage
The Stable Hall plans to open in January 2024.
