Cinnaholdic Alamo Ranch grand opening | SATXToday City Editor Nicholas Caballero
Are you in the mood for something sweet?
Cinnaholic — a gourmet cinnamon roll bakery chain based in Atlanta — is now open at its Alamo Ranch Marketplace location — the chain’s second in San Antonio after its location in Southtown.
The brand features specialty rolls like the Cookie Monster (cream cheese frosting, cookie dough, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce) and the Campfire S’mores (marshmallow frosting, graham cookies, marshmallows, and chocolate sauce).
You can even customize your own with 20 unique frosting flavors and dozens of toppings. The menu also includes bite-sized Baby Buns and edible cookie dough — or if you’re really hungry, the Cinnacake serves up to 15.
Cinnaholic’s menu is 100% vegan. That means dairy- and lactose-free, egg-free, and even cholesterol-free. Its mission is to “solve everyone’s dessert cravings while supporting animal welfare and sustainable food practices” — which is a pretty good bonus to satisfying your sweet tooth.
City Editor Nicholas recommends the Chocolate Turtle Cinnamon roll for chocolate lovers, and the lemon blueberry coffee cake pairs well with a hot coffee, which Cinnaholic sources locally at most locations.
