Whether it’s a decorated San Antonio Spurs-themed sombrero, a vest full of medals, or colorful outfits from a corner boutique, locals know how to show off their personal styles. But where to start when planning your own Fiesta style?
To minimize the stress, here are five places to help party goers prep up for Fiesta.
Last year’s infamous “concha ears” can be found here at Karolina’s Antiques. This store carries original designs, serape-inspired items, and accessories. Keep an eye on its Instagram page for up-to-date information about new inventory.
Shop Mexican apparel, plus items to decorate your hat, flower crowns, and official Fiesta merch. Have some extra time to kill? Check out its Fiesta Folk Art Gallery on the second floor.
Find decorations for your hats and wreaths, along with papel picado, Mexican paper flowers, and piñatas. Don’t forget to pick up a carton of cascarones to shower your friends in confetti.
Check out this local boutique on Broadway, a few blocks from the University of the Incarnate Word. You’ll find 100% artisan-made shoes, bags, jewelry, home decor, and clothing for the entire family.
The official store of Fiesta is located north of downtown San Antonio, and is a great place to purchase Fiesta medals from local businesses, official Fiesta clothing, and your tickets for the events.
