Travel
Chicago topped Conde Nast’s readers’ choice list of best cities in the US, and the cold never bothered us anyway, so we’re eager to plan a trip. Where would we stay? In this charming yet upscale two bedroom loft, of course. The best part is, it includes free parking.*

Remember doodling with sidewalk chalk? Well, some people never stopped.
20 featured artists + 52 school and community groups will show us how it’s done tomorrow, Sat., Oct. 8, at the 19th Annual Chalk It Up festival. From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Houston St. (from Flores to Presa), see live mural creations and help support your local arts organizations. This year’s theme: the San Antonio River.
Plus, it’s all free. We can’t imagine a better midday stroll.

Suffice it to say, I’ll give you credit on your brisket if you acknowledge the wonders of KC burnt ends.
