Something new is brewing at St. Paul Square in San Antonio.

Austin-based (hey there, ATXtoday) coffee roaster El Tigre Coffee Roasters is expanding for the first time ever with a new location near The Espee and Alamodome, inhabiting the former home of Vice Versa Coffee & Music.

Here’s what we know:

  • Located at 123 Heiman St.
  • Grand opening in February
  • Soft opening hours will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily
  • New breakfast and lunch menus

“San Antonio is a special place, and I’m honored to have been welcomed with open arms into this community. My El Tigre team and I look forward to serving San Antonio residents for years to come and we can’t wait to get to know all of our new downtown Eastside neighbors, including all the bakers, pastry chefs, and farmers, and producers as we look to source as much as we can locally.” Tatanka Guerrero, El Tigre’s owner, said in a statement.

Stay tuned for a grand opening date announcement as well as details on its breakfast + lunch menus.
