Bonnie Conner Park , 13300 Woller
If you find yourself on the North West side and need a break from all the 1604 construction, we recommend this park nestled in a green patch just off the highway. Fun Fact: This is where City Editor Nicholas and his sister had their birthday picnic. Afterward, check out Igo Library or take a walk along its trail for even better views.
Landa Library , 233 Bushnell Ave.
This library sits on five acres of luscious garden space with playgrounds, pavilions, community gardens, and even a pollinator station. This is one of the most perfect places to have a picnic, not to mention looking like it was ripped out of a Architecture Digest magazine cover.
Legacy Park , 103 W. Houston St.
Take in the city as you dig into your meal with skyline views and a gorgeous sunset. Don’t want to sit on the ground? No problem, the park has bistro tables + chairs for your enjoyment.
Pearl Park , 312 Pearl Pkwy.
Sunset along the green turf is as beautiful as the Pearl. A romantic part of the city and perfect for a picnic, so perfect that we think it would be a wonderful date idea to pop that special question — what are we eating?
