Last week, we talked about extreme eats around the city with five food challenges for those with insatiable appetites.

Today, however, we want to pivot to something a bit more upscale, boujee, and elegantnot that a 6.5 lbs burrito can’t be fancy.

These ten Valentine’s date-worthy restaurants are sure not to disappoint — that is, if you’re willing to put out the big bucks.

Biga on the Banks, 203 S. St. Mary’s St. | (210) 225-0722 | Price: $$$$ | This River Walk location is the perfect spot for fine dining. Our recommendation: Check out the Valentine’s Day three-course prix fixe menu for $85 per person.

Bliss, 926 S. Presa St. | (210) 225-2547 | Price: $$$ | A Southtown gem that frequently changes its menu to provide the freshest seasonal eats. Our recommendation: Try the pan-seared Norwegian Halibut along with sautéed blackened gulf shrimp, and fried okra.

Boiler House, 312 Pearl Pkwy., Building 3 | (210) 354-4644 | Price: $$$ | Nestled at the iconic Pearl, this restaurant is rooted in Texas pride paying homage to the brewery’s history. Our recommendation: Any steak from the restaurant’s selection is served with house-made chipotle compound butter and is sure to impress.

Brasão, 19210 W. I-10, | (210) 233-6868 | Price: $$$ | Come with an empty stomach and dine at this Brazilian steakhouse while taking a gander at the Ferrari’s next door — how fancy. Our recommendation: Everything — “all you can eat meat” is what we like to hear.

Chama Gaucha, 18318 Sonterra Place | (210) 564-9400 | Price: $$$ | We had to include this Stone Oak Brazilian steakhouse as well for its reputation — topping TripAdvisor’s list for best fine dining restaurants in the city. Our recommendation: Everything —The bread melts in your mouth.

Chart House, 739 E. César E. Chávez Blvd. | Price: $$$ | If you’ve never dined at the top of the Tower of the Americas, you’re in for a treat. Our recommendation: Check out the Valentine’s Day-for-two prix fixe menu priced at $150 per couple.

J-Prime Steakhouse, 1401 N. Loop 1604 W. | (210) 764-1604 | Price: $$$$ | Nothing says fine dining like Japanese A-5 steaks. Our recommendation: Create your own four-course meal from the holiday menu priced at $125 per person.

Perry’s Steakhouse and Grill, 15900 La Cantera Pkwy. Suite 22200 | (210) 558-6161 | Price: $$$ | Enjoy a romantic dinner after a day of shopping at this La Cantera steakhouse. Our recommendation: Check out the Valentine’s Candlelight Dinner complete with a filet mignon and two lobster tails for $175 per couple.

Piatti at Éilan, 17803 La Cantera Terrace, Suite 7114 | (210) 251-3542 | Price: $$ | This Italian trattoria offers great eats in a beautiful atmosphere. Our recommendation: Head to the restaurant’s website on Tues., Feb. 1 for a look at the prix fixe Valentine’s menu.

SILO Elevated Cuisine 1604, 434 N. Loop 1604 W. | (210) 483-8989 | Price: $$$ | Listed as one of OpenTable’s Top American US Restaurants, this casual yet elegant dining experience is one to splurge on. Our recommendation: Try the signature chicken fried oysters with angel hair pasta.
