The River Walk is flipping the switch on the holiday lights todayyes, you heard that right. Last month, the City of San Antonio announced the iconic holiday lights were to turn on early this year.

The stunning array of 100,000+ lights draping over the towering cypress trees is always a sight to behold. However, our team at SATXtoday knows it’s also the most wonderful time for a beer. Head on over to these three bars after viewing this festive attraction light up the Alamo City sky.

Join the community in celebrating the 40th Annual Ford Holiday River Parade. This San Antonio staple holiday is gearing up for its biggest celebration yet.

Don’t be a Scrooge — bring in the holiday cheer with Ford Holiday Boat Caroling. Visitors can enjoy this timeless tradition for free as they stroll the banks of the river or by booking a private one-hour caroling boat.

Experience the joy of strolling through the River Walk with guided 2,000+ luminarias at night. Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias will run Fridays, Saturdays + Sundays for three weekends.
