Camp Mystic owners have announced plans to partially reopen next summer after Fourth of July weekend’s floods, writing in a letter to parents that its leadership is working alongside experts and engineers to implement new safety regulations. A memorial is planned for the 27 campers lost. (MySA)

Come Wednesday, Oct. 1, Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones and San Antonio’s city council can both expect a pay raise.
