University Health has acquired the former CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital, Medical Center Campus, in an expansion agreement. CHRISTUS Health announced Wednesday, July 30 that ownership will transition to University Health immediately. This news comes on the heels of a Bexar County Hospital District Board of Managers unanimous vote. (Fox San Antonio)

One of San Antonio’s oldest Black-owned clubs, Chillie Willie Mustang Lounge — a local cultural fixture which features world-class jazz shows — has been damaged by arson.
