Who’s hungry? If you raised your hand, you’ve come to the right place.
We recently asked for your under-the-radar San Antonio eats, and you brought the heat. Your responses featured a range of cuisines at restaurants all over the Alamo City, so whether you’re in the mood to find a new spot, or feel like learning more about the businesses that call SATX home, here are some of your thoughts:
“Casa Mia on Rigsby Ave, SE Side. They have excellent Italian with reasonable prices and great service.” — Connie M.
“Thai Lao Orchid at 116 Broadway. It’s unpretentious... nondescript interior. However, it’s really tasty, freshly prepared, more than adequate portions... Prices are consistent with other establishments, and few offerings are even slightly lower. Parking will be the only challenge for anyone needing to drive.” — Joseph L.
“Mama’s Kitchen on Hildebrand. The best real chilaquiles. The soft, sautéed tortilla chips, not the crunchy stuff mostly served by other restaurants.” — anonymous reader.
