Do you remember the San Antonio Stars? Basketball fans will remember we used to have a WNBA team — for 15 whole seasons. In 2018, the Stars became the Las Vegas Aces, and they went on to win two back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023. They even took former Stars guard Becky Hammon and made her head coach.

This begs the question: What would a new WNBA franchise look like in San Antonio?

It’s possible — the WNBA is expanding quickly. In the coming years, three new teams are expected to pop up in cities like Portland and Toronto. Heck, there’s even talk of Houston joining the mix.

So let’s build a make-believe team. What would the name be? The mascot? Which coach would you poach?

Answer below to build the dream team.
