Development
Developers are looking to transform Tobin Hill’s Koehler House into Great Hearts Texas’ charter school headquarters. The property was previously slated for a hotel, but renovation work for the new project is set to begin later this month and wrap up by the end of 2026. (San Antonio Business Journal)
Sports
UTSA baseball plays in its first Super Regional on Saturday, June 7. The best-of-three series in Los Angeles against UCLA begins at 6 p.m. The second game is slated for Sunday at 2 p.m., with a third to follow if necessary. Closing
Comfort Cafe’s Los Patios chapter is closing Fourth of July weekend. The restaurant, known for its brunch menu items and serene setting, will remain operational on Bandera Road. Read the statement shared to social media.
Opening
Canadian-based restaurant Pür & Simple will celebrate the opening of its first US location on Tuesday, June 10 at San Antonio’s Stone Ridge Market. The breakfast chain’s menu is compared to that of Snooze and First Watch. (San Antonio Express-News)
