Check out our quick guide for taking care of your San Antonio parking ticket. | Photo by City of San Antonio
On the list of “things that can ruin a day,” walking back to your car to find that white piece of paper tucked under the windshield wiper has to rank pretty high.
So you got a parking ticket in San Antonio — now what?
Well, from the date of your citation, a countdown begins. If the ticket is not resolved within that window, San Antonio will consider that ticket delinquent. Ouch.
Note: Private parking operators also issue citations and have their own set of procedures.
How to pay
To pay the fee, you can do so one of three ways: by mail, in person at Municipal Court Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or online. While the average fine is $35, tickets can run as high as $500.

PNC economists provide updated analyses and forecasts of trends throughout the year. | Photo provided by PNC
The new year is looking bright — and so is the 2025 economy. According to PNC Chief Economist Gus Faucher, the US economy is in good shape, thanks to four primary drivers:
Low unemployment
Solid job gains
Good wage growth
Rising household wealth
Consider this: More jobs and rising wages often result in higher incomes and increased household spending. And since consumer spending makes up approximately two-thirds of the US economy, it’s reasonable to expect that the broader economy will expand too.
Other factors that support the health of the economy and quality of life include:
Slowing inflation
Continued strength in biz investment (think: equipment, workplaces, and technology for workers)
Falling interest rates and lower mortgage rates
Pro tip: PNC’s economic insights are updated throughout the year, so be sure to check back in.

I will admit that I haven’t received a parking ticket, but worse — I’ve been towed. About four years ago I learned my lesson that church parking lots are not for public parking.
