As temperatures drop in Alamo City, San Antonians should brush up on the City’s winter weather preparedness guide. Here are a few tips on how to prepare:
Wrap pipes running outside or under your house in pipe insulation or rags
Have extra blankets for warmth
Have sufficient heating fuel and seasoned wood (for those with a fireplace)
If you’ll need a place to stay warm, make a plan using this map

The plan for a mixed-use development along Broadway is underway. The Historic and Design Review Commission will review the designs on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Peep the renderings which feature over 60,000 sqft of buildings + open-air walkways. (San Antonio Express-News)
