Chill out at the Holiday Hideway Pop-up, a lodge-inspired getaway. Cozy up and enjoy summit views, outdoor fire pits, and a cocktail menu with 10 festive drinks including Holly Daze, Cozy Cabin, Cider, and Candy Cane Lane. Reservations are required.
Come wallow in self-pity at this outdoor bar’s Grinchmas pop-up. Customers can enjoy whimsical drinks, limited edition eats, and photo opportunities throughout the grounds. Plus, there’s a Grinchmas Paint & Sip you don’t want to miss happening Saturday, Dec. 7, 2-5 p.m.

JINYA Ramen Bar is opening its newest location on the Far West Side on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The first 100 visitors to arrive at 7010 W. Loop 1604 N. Suite 203 will receive a free bowl of ramen. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Traffic
TxDOT opened the tallest flyover ramp in the city at the 1604 and I-10 interchange. The ramp is 123 ft tall and is 2.1 miles long. 1604’s $1.2 billion makeover is set to be complete in 2027. (San Antonio Express-News)

On Tuesday, the City of San Antonio Neighborhood and Housing Services Department broke ground on a new 30-unit affordable housing development on the west side. Memorial Apartments is set to conclude construction in fall 2025.

Local nonprofit Inner City Development is accepting new, unwrapped toy donations for its annual toy sale. You can drop off items on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1300 Chihuahua. The nonprofit has provided emergency and recreational services to kids and families for over 50 years.
