San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg has appointed Baltazar “Buddy” Vargas as the new City Auditor. Vargas brings 17+ years of experience to the role and will be sworn in on Thursday, Nov. 21. He assumes the position on Sunday, Dec. 1.
