Say hello (again) to Fiesta’s music festival which is back for the first time in 29 years. That’s right, we’re talking about La Semana Alegre. The event returns to Hemisfair for two days of music + celebration, as well as the relaunch of an annual Fiesta tradition. This cherished concert event is one of Hemisfair’s only fundraisers throughout the year.

To make the concert more immersive, Hemisfair has partnered with Galaxy Productions — the production team behind its Dia de los Muertos celebration — to create a multi-stage music extravaganza.

Here are the details:

Kickoff party starts on Thursday, April 25, from 5-11 p.m. and goes through Friday, April 26 from noon to 11 p.m.
Limited quantity 1995-priced tickets for $10 — it’s giving nostalgia.

In addition to live music performances, La Semana Alegre will feature a wide array of activities + attractions, from food and beverage vendors to local artisanal craft stalls.
